After a highly successful debut last year, IMG Models is bringing back IMG Fashion Camp this summer.
"Our campers experienced firsthand the myriad ways to enter the fashion industry, and we saw real career potential rise from within the group," says David Cunningham, SVP of IMG Models. "We anticipated a fashion-savvy audience and expected to learn from their points of view, but the level of ideation and creativity surprised even us. We look forward to welcoming this year's campers and giving them a fast-track into the fashion world to jumpstart their future careers in the industry."
Cool Teens™ between the ages of 14 and 18 who enroll will stay at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. (just south of Tampa) from July 29 to August 4. The week-long camp will cover the ins and outs of the fashion industry — from modeling and fashion design to content creation and brand creative direction — with special guest speakers like designer Brandon Maxwell, models Halima Aden and Hailey Baldwin, makeup artist to the stars (including Meghan Markle) Daniel Martin, stylist Sally Lyndley, Victoria's Secret's go-to photographer Russell James and so many more.
While further schedule details have yet to be announced, last year's lineup promises a slew of activities, collaborative projects and discussions that will not only inform attendees about what it's like to work in fashion, but also challenge and push their creativity and business know-how. Interested campers can register online at IMG Academy's website.
