Paris Jackson joins IMG Modeling agency

Michael Jackson's teenaged daughter, Paris Jackson, has gotten her fair share of attention within the fashion industry lately. Aside from sitting front row at Riccardo Tisci's final Givenchy show back in January, she opted for a blinged-out Balmain jumpsuit to walk the red carpet at the Grammys, and she just appeared alongside fellow celebrity offspring models Gigi and Bella Hadid on the cover of CR Fashion Book's 10th print edition. It's also worth noting that she has an impressive 1.1 million followers on Instagram, a valuable asset in the Instagirl-dominated modeling world. In fact, we had a bit of a pool going in our office to see which modeling agency and/or brand would snatch her up first for a contract or a campaign — and now we have our answer.

On Thursday, IMG's Ivan Bart announced via Instagram that the 18-year-old has officially signed with IMG Models. She joins the likes of the aforementioned Hadid sisters, Hailey Baldwin, Kaia and Presley Gerber, Sailor Brinkley Cook, Gabriel Kane Day Lewis and Sistine Stallone in what is shaping to be one stacked lineup of stellar, genetically-blessed beings. The countdown is on until Ms. Jackson — not to be confused with her aunt Janet, the OG Ms. Jackson — lands a plum runway or brand ambassador gig. Watch this space.
